The Fred Lorenzen car is fast and light, but the Junior Johnson Holly Farms car may not make the trip. Its way too heavy.

Yep bought my brass today and just placed my order at scc for some parts for this build. Should be getting started next week when everything arrives. A special thanks to Dave too!!!! Thank you sir. Hands down a great guy!!!

Yep. I am anticipating the contest between the lightweight plastic chassis and the scratchbuilt chassis of various materials. That's why I'm sending two. We'll let Dave be the scientist.

Im only sending one. If the brass chassis doesnt work out ill use a platic chassis modified to work :)

Woohoo! I just got a tracking notice. The Plymouth body I bought from Cagee has cleared Canada Customs, so I may have it this week, or the next, or the next,...
Chassis parts are already on the honeycomb, but I've already learned to not make the chassis until you have a body in hand to check the wheelbase, etc.

I need to get my Nascar proxy car off this week, but we are racing Nascar tomorrow evening so I will flog, err test it one last time before it enters its transporter and sets off.

Sorry it was only a "teaser" shot last night - I had only gotten on the rear and top decals at that point and was really happy with how the rear one I made turned out - so that is what got posted...
Here is an overall while the decals dry before getting clear coated later this week.
Won't be long now! :D
