I`ll join in on this event, All I needed was a reason to build a chassis. Be interesting to see the cars when all is said and done, and see who actually read the rules, built their own car.

1/8" chassis clearance? Really? Why so high? 1/16 has been used since the 60's.

Correct, the body. The cars are not supposed to look like they were stepped on :) This is a scale detail oriented event. The body distances are this way as in all the models we have built, it's a decent goal to shoot for.
