by default the guy on the bottom wins then.......

next in line i think was mnford guy..... if you pass on the winning of a prize i say it goes to him.

Dave - I'd love to see what you find with that motor when you tear it out! It has similar top end to the other cars on a long straight - but it just doesn't have any torque?! Not sure what the issue is as it doesn't run hot, etc - but acts like it has too light of wire to the motor (But I even tried jumpering the reversing switch board assembly, to see if that would help - it didn't?!)

BTW - the cars look great on the track and ought to be a blast to zip around there!

Hey Guys....thanks for the comments on my "Herbie" bug....however if there was any consideration for a prize, I must come clean and defer to the next in line,.
I had assistance in painting the car. I had asked to use the paint booth at work. It was a slow day, so our paint guy ended up painting my car.....(used white aircraft grade epoxy...)
Actually, all the cars looked great....fanastic effort on everyone's part. :text-thankyouyellow:

Thank you for the strong qualifying effort with the Seagram's 7 car Dave! :D

Looks like it is a pretty darn tight spread on the field!
