Re: Score board after Shelby-Hendrix Sppedway

It's shaping up to be a great series again! Slothead Racing is looking forward to the next races and being able to break free from this log jam and get to the top of the podium at the end of it all.

If this works out we may have to go out and get ourselves a little something to honor the achievement.

Shelby-Hendrix Speedway is delighted to be offered a change to host another race in this series - after Pepsi 62.

Definitely enjoying the camaraderie with all the fellow race teams.

Great to hear!
Hopefully the T-county boys can reverse the backward slide in the points! :)

OK SIP race teams, Next round is here in Australia, hopefully it will be run at Andromeda Raceway, If that cant be done I'll do it here on my little circuit The Paperclip

V8 Supercars will be the weapons of choice, something a bit different for you guys above the equator

Jason Bright #8 BOC Commodore

Dean Fiore #12 Devil's Cut Falcon

Will Davidson #6 Trading Post Falcon

Greg Murphy #51 Supercheap Auto Commodore

Steven Richards #6 Dunlop Falcon
Image
Steven Johnson #17Jim Beam Black Falcon
Image
James Courtney #1 Toll HRT Commodore

All are standard Scalextric S/W 11:36 gearing and have MJK rear tyres on them except the BOC car, it has a slot it axle and 36T spur gear and CB Design wheels with MJK tyres ( I will change the rear axle back to standard prior to running). They have no interiors and painted windows.

Teams make your choice, I will take the unchosen one, I'll get a format together and advise the teams once I know which track we will be racing on looking at a possible mid week Wednesday night 1st May

My first car, given to me by my oldest brother, was a Ford Falcon, so Slothead Racing selects - Will Davidson #6 Trading Post Falcon as their entry.

This should be a very interesting round with these cars and the blackened windows. Our driver will bring his/her own racing seat and we'll have a top notch spotter to guide them. Training will begin immediately using my wife's car with blackout tape on the windows and cell phones for instructions. Can't see any harm in talking on a cell phone while already driving blind. I'm hoping this doesn't void her insurance policy.

Helen says a smaller wing is the key to success. We choose:

James Courtney #1 Toll HRT Commodore

I think she's been chewing the eucalyptus leaves again.

Slothead Racing is in pure training mode till the race is over. Nothing but milk and cookies for the team. I did sneak a party size bag of peanut M&M's in with the some of our tools, plenty for everyone, but I don't intend to share.
