WIll there be any proxy races run near Arizona? If so I would volunteer to be a driver. My 6X14 digital Carrera table will be up and running late September as it is too hot here to setup in my garage. I am really interested in following this and maybe I could put my track in for next year.

I'll post more details later, but the first race of the proxy is complete. We had a couple of cars with technical issues. We're checking those and will get back with the owners. Here are the results. Things were very close with fastest lap being the tiebreaker for several cars. 3 minute races with cars rotated between 3 racers.

Wow! Completely surprised to see the results. I know that Czar graciously helped me out with some tuning since I do not have a track yet. But I was not even expecting a podium. Wow.

Thanks. Still in shock. But if nothing else it has motivated me to enter more proxy events. I'm expecting my track this month and then I will at least be able to test and tune.

Lew, there are no entries from your area. No one from your area offered to host. Sorry not to answer your post quickly enough. I have been working to get the the first race together. The track schedule has been posted by Randy. I will look forward to your entry(ies) next year. Glad to see you have found some other racers in your area. BTW, I am thinking that the next Proxy I run will be for non-Carrera cars that have been chipped.

The BARC/Porsche number 4 car appears to have the speed to be competitive, but today was not our day as we fell short of a podium finish. We remain hopeful that the BARC Car will find it's way to the front of the grid as the series continues.

Congratulations to CJR on his victory today, and thank you to our gracious track host.

The series is long and we are committed to the cause. The BARC/Porsche team looks forward to the next race on the calendar.
