All I did on mine since the last update was mount the interior and
the front axle blocks in the chassis.. Spent my spare time today routing~

Well, it's a good thing the race isn't till April.. It's going to take me that long to
figure out a new chassis for the Maverick. Mounting it like this is about the only
way I'm going to have any wheel clearance so the silly thing will roll :roll:

Looks like I'm going to have to learn how to solder brass after all :mrgreen:

Round two of paint. Coming out a little better. Spray the red tomorrow. Decided to leave the hockey stick stripes off this time. Little tire truing and profiling should be able to get the body even with chassis. :think:

I am wondering if thr tires inside the body making the car narrow but lowing the body or all the way out out to the edge of the fenders for a wider car but up highter

I'm just hoping to get the body down to the top of the side pans. Not going to be able to take much off the tires. Just enough to true them up. Chassis is already at about .065 clearance. Counting on some profiling to get it down. Hopefully that will do it.

This is so cool to see everyone building basically the same thing, but all of them certainly have thier own personality..

I bought an adjustable chassis today.. narrower in the front.. so hopefully it's something I can work with.

Well it's not my best job but will have to do. Get the tail lights painted in and front and rear bumpers on here later. Then decals and clear.
