Hey Luf, I'm glad I sent you that email.

I will be mailing my cars to Shotgun Dave the week between Christmas and New Years, so we have a month and a half or so. You can add yours to the box.
Good to have you aboard. Now to twist Don M's arm a little. Well maybe not, his old hotrods beat ours every time, eh?

See you tomorrow night,

Keith

In spite of the Barn Find Fun Run which sort of overlaps, P-BOP is still on and we now have a sponsor and more goodies for the parts box at the end of the proxy.

It is not too late to join the fun, and you still even have a month to build a car, eh?

Cheers,

Keith

I PMd all the registered contestants for the Parts Box Open Proxy tonight with shipping dates and Paypal info. Just after I sent the last one I realized I didn't include Dave's address for shipping. If you don't already have it, PM me and I will send it to you.

One month before the cars need to be shipped to Dave. There is still time for anyone else to join the fun. We currently have eight contestants and about a dozen cars. The more the merrier.

Cheers,

Keith

Three weeks from now the cars need to be getting ready for shipment to Shotgun Dave. Sometime between Christmas and New Years they need to be in the mail. Still time for anyone out there with a parts box built jalopy to join the fun.

Cheers.

My baby is in good hands. I know Todd likes to drive it. Hope you guys do too. A little rough on the soldering but she will perform.

Hey Strangebrew, anything is OK in this proxy. That's why I think it will be great fun. With such diversity of cars and tracks, some will do well on some venues and others do well elsewhere. Some are designed and suited to ovals, but where will they be on a road course. Mine are good on the road course like Luf's Targa, but have never seen a 144 ft eight lane commercial speedway. They will either do well, or crap out half way along the straight because the ratio is all wrong.

Time will tell, eh?

ps. I also had to change one of my motors as it filled the room with smoke while I was racing it.

I am really looking forward to seeing all the creations with this! I am working at getting things wrapped up on my two entries - hopefully having both ready for track testing next week. :D
Will be cool to see what everyone comes up with!

Hi all you P-BOPPERS

It is time to ship your cars. It is also time to pay your registration fees for the three of you who haven't yet.

We have 13 cars in this proxy and they will be visiting six different locations with possibly as many as eight races. I have a parcel sitting on my desk ready to mail to ShotgunDave tomorrow. If any of you don't know Dave's address or have lost my Paypal address, PM me and I will supply you with those.

IT IS NOT TOO LATE! If you've been silently watching this thing unfold, and have a suitable car to fit the rules, there is still time to join the fun. Registration closes when the last entered car arrives in California.

Let the P-BOP fun begin.

Cheers,

Keith
