Okay guys here's the deal. We can go ahead and run the cars as planned or I will return all cars. Mine will not be making the tour if you still want to run it.
I have decided to get completely out of the slot car hobby. Am selling any and everything pertaining to slots. This weekend I am taking a inventory of all I have and coming up with prices and start posting here first if anyone is interested. Will be priced to sell and as is. From parts to body castings,cars,tools,controllers and panels,power supplies and timing system you name it. The Micro Mark drill press and mill attachment goes also. Probably will start listing everything as I go thru it.

WOW! I just shipped my car off this morning; Priority Express mail. It will be with Rusty in Sarasota tomorrow by 3:00PM.

With the car already built, I'm in favor of running this proxy. It's now a dedicated car; motor glued in place, built according to the HRW NASCAR Proxy rules, etc. It's of very little use to me if it's not going to be run in this proxy. There's a considerable amount of both time and money in this car, I'd hate to think that it will become nothing more than a shelf queen. Let's run this proxy.

Dave and guys, I don't have a dog in this fight, but I live pretty close to Fla as far as shipping goes, and I would act as a host track if needed. I don't know if this would even help, but the offer stands.

Hey guys, I'm all in for racing this proxy! So just send the cars & monies to the second track. I'm still in favor of not removing the bodies til after the last race. Really I see no need to do so before.setting body screws is a part of tuning. You can pretty much see all the parts without removing the bodies. In the end this is just for fun! :music-rockout: LETS GO RACIN! :auto-driving:

Rusty just told me he is still willing to run the race at his place, even if it is his last hoorah. He can then send them to the next and send the money to Dave for the return shipping. We've spent the money and built the cars, so let's go! Anyone who has not sent their cars can get them off pronto to Rusty. I will volunteer to keep the scoreboard, and can run a couple of races here if you guys are interested in adding another venue or two.

I think at this point we should let Dave make the call and let us know the plan, but let's keep racing.

Just put my cars in the post tonight. Came back and saw I had messages about this proxy. Glad it is still on. I had volunteered to host a round, so I look forward to getting your cars. Running the Forums Cup Cars next week or the following. I need to clean the table off. I had fun running them with Bibbster last Saturday. I was surprised that the cars I made for this proxy required little to no weight. Must be the 18K motor letting the tires hook up.
