There were some seriously crazy ones in S. America...wide fendered monsters in particular.

Clear is on looks ok. Not real happy with how it came out. Just a Maverick. :lol: Anyway chassis is in the tumbler again. Somehow the motor bracket moved a bit so I had to reset it and add a brace on top. Get it out and together in a couple hours here. Tires are trued may need a little more profiling. Not gonna be able to get the body down enough to cover the chassis so need to come up with something there. (No side pipes. :) ) Think I can hot glue little strips of styrene on the body posts to cover it and paint it black. Then make a exhaust pipe for each side out of a q-tip. Should look ok.

I got my body decaled and my new chassis came in the mail..
Very adjustable so between that and the new 15x7 wheels and skinnier tires for the
front, I should have a shot at getting this thing mounted without rubbing anywhere..

SRQ, that's jewelers quality work right there, and the HRS chassis just floats around the track. My Mav. came in the mail today so will start the build tonite.

Guys- all of you are doing fantastic work. They may "only" be Mavericks, but I don't think any 1:1 versions were ever loved as much as the ones on this thread!

Here is what we have for stance. Has anyone noticed the right side rear flair sits higher than the left?
