Just sent an email/PM to Jon. I know I have been EXTREMELY happy with the Tire Razor I got from him - so if he is still offering these, I may have to add one to the tool bench as I hope to continue being involved with the proxies and having a jig would save me a LOT of time/grief I think... (well, maybe not time as I may spend more time building - but definitely the grief of - oops it moved!) ;)

Yep. I built my own, based on some ideas I saw here on HRW, just to see if I could do it. I'm very happy with it, and its great for 1/24, but I am seriously considering getting one of Jon's for smaller scales with Christmas money I still haven't spent.

Got my parts from SCC yesterday and should have my body from Dave thursday. So got busy here and heated the iron got the motor box soldered up. Have one more brace to put on then it's done. Going to wait on the body to get here. Then I can see if everything will fit up under it.

The Maverick has arrived. Thanks David looks great. Looks like I'll be busy this weekend. Want to get it finished soon so I can start building the new track for this proxy and have it all rubbered in.
