Since I still haven't gotten around to uploading any photos to the HRW shadow gallery Harry set me up to use - here are some photos of the Race 3 cars from various sources (Tenamp whenever possible).

These are cars I use in my Can-Am series, and all my cars are stock except for PG tires and body float adjustments.

REMEMBER - these cars qualified within 0.2 seconds on my track, ranking between 7th & 13th out of 21 cars. They were selected for this race because they are evenly matched (and fun to drive)!

Race teams - submit you preferences. In case of ties the team lower in points will get the car. Slothead Racing will take the last car remaining.

Sorry for the delay. We will take the #16. As an explanation for the delay, those stateside have heard of the flooding the past several weeks out here in the great plains. I have been helping with clean-up around the county when not working and unfortunately the flood came during kidding and calving season. :(

Hey Bandit - first things first, gotta have priorities. Hope things in the plains are improving. I remember learning about the great plains in school, and then experience them on my first cross country road trip in '94. Absolutely amazing after growing up in NY state where hills and trees mean you can only see ahead for short distances.

These Can-Am cars are closely matched. Top qualifier of the bunch was the #16 Lola T70 (George Follmer) at 9.657 sec and the bookend was the #7M McLaren M8D (Peter Gethin) at 9.841 secs.

I use an inverted starting order so the #7M will be up front followed by 6C, 4, 7L, 6P, 59. and 16. In the race simulation they will all be on the track at the same time, Right now I'm thinking 30 or 40 lap race, so there's time for cars in the back to make some moves toward the front, but it won't be easy.

I'm creating the needed files now and hope to run the race this week.

Man this just isn't my season. Finishing last is the last race and qualifying last in this race. :angry-tappingfoot: I running out of things to change.

Helen also says that by channeling our inner Willie T. Ribbs we'll get past that mobile chicane of a Porsche and then we can link up and form a McLaren road block.
