Dave - I think you are rushing the week a bit! Tomorrow is only Tuesday! :)

In all seriousness though - we are hoping to broadcast the qualifying at 4:00pm eastern time. Apalmer has already loaded uStream onto his laptop which has a built in camera, now it is just a matter of trying to work out laptop/camera placement and determine whether we can get reasonable resolution with the bandwidth we have available.

This is the first attempt at hosting a proxy for either of us, so we don't have a real good feel for how much time it may take to get all of this set up and then run the cars through either - the qualify process or the longer racing portion at this point (planning on 2 min per lane 4 lanes) - so please bear with us if this first attempt isn't the "smoothest" broadcast you've ever seen. (having practice time and a race on this track in the middle of the evening also throws an bit of a wrinkle into things)

Once we see how quick the qualifying goes - we will be able to make the determination as to whether to try to run the cars "before" the 7pm scheduled race on that track - or afterward. (if the uStream works well - we will update everyone on that live - if it doesn't, I guess it is kind of a moot point - but we will try to long into the site and let everyone know that it isn't going to happen so that nobody has to sit around wondering) :)

On the race format - we are still checking on what the trackmate system will let us do as far as a "scheduled/timed" race as that may have an impact on which four lanes we run. (Ideally we are thinking either centers verses gutters or first four verses second four as a format)
But long story short, the intention is to run the first race this week on half the lanes and then barring any issues - follow it up with the second race the week after next on the second set of lanes. :)

Definitely looking forward to getting an opportunity to give everyone's car some track time!

Rusty - I had planned to get into the details of that when I wrote up the review - but just a quick reply that hopefully answers your questions until I can get a more detailed post together:
All qualifying done in the "red" lane by single driver.
Drivers assigned to a specific lane for the duration of the race, with cars rotated through each of the lanes sequentially.
Heats were 2 minutes per.
At the end of each heat the cars were transferred straight across to the next lane in the sequence, with the lap count, position and fastest lap time recorded before pulling the car in orange and putting the next car in the qualifying sequence in on red to start it's run.
(first heat started with #1 qualifier in red, #2 in white and so on - to start the process)
