I picked up my first Scaley Cortina. I must say that it runs MUCH better than the revell version I bought years ago. All I've done is true the tires so far and it's not bad at all on my routed track. I'll probably switch out the motor to something a little tamer but it's pretty good now.

Newest slots in the stable are both camaros, one being a previously released Scalextric 69, the other is the most recent Pioneer release. Both were fitted with PG tires on the rear, magnets removed, the scaley 21k motor was replaced with a Pioneer18k. Scaley car also had the rear axle assembly replaced with SCC 15x8mm insert wheels, 34t spur, along with M/T torque thrust inserts. Fronts are look alike TT from the Revogram line. The Pioneer car wheels are all stock as they were very straight and true. Toothpick trick on the tires to top them off, and are both super fun drivers. Both these Camaros are the best looking releases to date from their respected manufacturers IMO.
