I've got to work on the loose tail out symptoms with my cars. They all tend to have this issue. Either more weight on the back end I guess or keep working on rear tire profile. Where is that Chassis Engineer? :think:

Thanks for the tip. So I've been doing wrong all these years. Dang. :think: I always thought it was to get as much weight close to the rear axle.

I've read the 40/60 ratio front to rear. Which is how most of my cars have been set up. I think RichD in an article on how to set up a car said if the car rolls over you need weight lower. If it slides to much add weight higher up. Now I'm going by memory at this time. I have the article saved on my computer at home. Guess I'll be in the chassis shop this summer. Maybe too late for some cars but maybe better results for 2020.

Maybe it's not the weight? Check to make sure your front end is setup correctly, your pod isn't too loose and doesn't twist, or your tires do not interfere with the body.

If all else fails, twist the fargal pin counter clockwise for loose conditions. Don't forget CARGOFAST Slot Car Racing Products sells STAYONTRACK which works perfectly for loose. I'm sending some to my pal Dennis to help him in the chassis shop this summer.

Thanks for the tips. Pod too loose, tires and body contact, front end. Will examine more closely. I have caught tire contact on some returning cars.

What is the advantage of the pod? If you have a podded car should the body screws be loose as well? My cars seem to run faster with both loose. I recall in a post by someone, maybe it was you, that they were going to tighten the body screws and just adjust the pod.
