Here is a link to "the canadian Todco Racing team in 1969..." That kid Derek Jonhson was quite a driver seeing him a few times at Mont-Tremblant & Mosport race tracks in Quebec and Ontario !

Great link on the Todco!!!

I got these from Power Slot Cars - excellent website that is super easy to use and shows stock levels as you are ordering so I don't have to call about availability, excellent prices and customer service too. You can also get 10% off coupons very regularly. Their shipping is wicked fast and usually is only two days.

Oh my...I think I may need a cigarette after getting these things - and I don't smoke! I'll do some pictures tomorrow, but seriously - I'm very pleased!

The 1969 Camaro is fabulous looking. Scalextric has made a few changes I really like - hoodpins in the tampo, side marker lights, tail lights are painted, and a perfectly crisp looking T/A logo.

The Lotus is the real mind-blower though: Scaley used a different front wing, rear wing, open intake with no airbox, and different side pods. VERY nice of them to not just slap paint on the JPS car. Stunning is a word I'd use to describe it!

Thank you Scalextric!!!

Anyone heard if the black #14 Scalextric Cougar C3536 is going to be shipped soon? I want to buy this and the #23 Camaro together to round out my Trans Am series. Originally the Cougar was supposed to be available first.

I would say they are close to coming to the states as they are one Ebay now and look to be available in Europe. And for those that questioned whether it was going to have the closed headlights - it does and looks absolutely gorgeous as far as I am concerned!!! :)

Thanks for info on the Cougar - what a beautiful car! I bought the plain white car and decals last winter to make this livery, but never did because I knew I could never match this when it came out. That car is now on it's way to be the green and gold #41 Cougar of Allan Moffat with decals from Slotcars4U.

I'm hoping Modelville Hobby in MA can get these for me soon as I'd prefer to buy from a hobby shop or raceway, but if not I'll order online.

Didn't have a bunch of time to play today, so I'll reserve it for tomorrow, but here's the first thoughts on running them:

Camaro runs well, but needs my normal tuning to be perfect on my track.
Lotus runs as well as the JPS car - I am in shock how smooth these things are.

Just received my Legends cars today and wow - they are damn nice - photos don't do them justice.

I feel a photo shoot on the cards ....

The #10 is a stunner

Are you talking about the Pioneer Legend cars that have been 'Coming Soon' for over 3 years now? If so, I'm amazed and encouraged I might just see the Trans Am Javelin in my lifetime.
