There's a blast from the past... In addition to 2 or 3 part-time jobs we all had in college, as well as selling blood, semen, etc. There were a few of us who went to Hernando's Hideaway (South Memphis), to dance with club ladies in the afternoons, at "Tea Dances". Yes, we were taxi dancers in the most unkind description. Tips were extraordinary, and nothing weird ever happened. The ladies were sweet and gratifying, not to mention generous, and long before things got creepy, we had all found legit jobs. By the time we were all in college, working your way through was a b*tch, and we did what we could, no parental support, no scholarships, no grants. Honestly, it wasn't as bad as it sounds. We had a ball the whole time we were in school, including the semester I lived in the back seat of my car.
