I can't wait for it to get here!

I have been in this hobby for almost a year now. I know, I know I am just a youngster. Since all of this is new to me I get excited to see and race cars that are new to me all the time. When I go over to Bibbster's I always spend about ten minutes looking at all of his cars. I have been over there a lot, and I still have to go through them. Well, ever since the opening weekend of the Veteran's Memorial Raceway I have been dreaming about the Cheetah! Rusty brought two of them over and I fell in love. I have not been this excited about getting a car before! I am expecting sometime this week, and the wait is killing me! Hurry postman or in our case postwoman.

I got the red one. Per my usual luck everyone was out of the analog version, but I couldn't stand to wait so I bought the digital one. Soooo once it gets here I have to dechip it (is that a word?, oh well it is now). Let you guys know how it runs once it gets here.

i got 5 boxes in the mail today. came home from work and it was xmas already. i know you what your feeling....its becoming an obsession waiting for the postman.

...Lets be honest here guys, it sux bigtime!!!!

I hate it, it freaks me out and I end up quite manic from the experience....

I live in the boonies, the nearest decent slot car shop is over 2 1/2 hours drive away, everything comes by mail to my place. 10-14 days from Britain or the States, you forget something from one order, gives you an excuse to order more stuff.

You wait, you know the mail Lady intimately (no, perhaps not at that level...), you know about her sick cat, her Aunts hernia operation, she berates you for still smoking (I'm stressed!!!! You aren't bringing my toys to me as quickly as I want).....

Then they arrive, all of them in the same week, if you are lucky you will get multiples on one day (like a hat trick in cricket I'd imagine).

The Serotonin, flows, natures high, you are happy now, you are focused, busy, you smoke less, life is good again :)

Yeah, its good when you get parcels in the mail I think.....

Is there a way to loose the chip and keep the lights? Just curious would like to get a little money back to get a chassis for a stocker I want to do. Just curious if this is a possibility. I think I might bug Bibbster about it until he invents a way! :lol:
