Ka'men Turf Track Rebuild

Postby Gameover » Fri Dec 19, 2014 6:06 pm

Well today marked the day I finally start the rebuild of my road course. I had to take down my oval to Ron the plywood, but that will be easy to rebuild when the time comes. The new track will be a T shape. The back 16 foot straight will be elevated with a built in pit garage under the back straight. There will also be a bridge. I won't get much time to work on it till after Christmas but I'll plug away with every minute I have cause I'm trackless now after the oval came down. So here is a pick of the table almost complete. That tiny room at the other end is my old slot room. Big upgrade. I'm standing where the oval was and will be going back into.

Beautiful blank canvas right there! You must be feeling pretty good about all that space to design and build your layout!

Just reverse the bridge area and this is what she will look like. For some reason the program wanted it this way lol

Track is down and a few laps ran. Need to clean it up and get some grass down yet. Not going all out on the scenery as we hope to sell our house this summer. But who know I might just do something.

Here it is :)

Added some floors and a hoist. I'll need to get more foam board for the other garages. I ran out.

Shaping up to be a really nice track.

And, oh how I envy you the timber you can get in America! It really puts to shame the overpriced, soggy,warped-to-begin-with rubbish that is sold here!
