Strangebrew showed up for a special visit today and we had a great time.

His cars are just fantastic pieces of art. Lot of detail only an old school 1:1 dirt racer would do. His chassis are what gets me, very intricate and detailed.

He asked me which one I liked best. Heck...I told him I would have to just flip a coin. Both are too cool.

Fun times!

Re: Sportsman Showdown Finished Models Nova

Postby HRWJim » Mon Jan 19, 2015 1:48 pm

Put the finish touches on the Nova last night. Mt resin body and RMS resin interior. All the other parts are from the kit at SCC. Still have some tuning to do but the modeling is done. Not the best pictures but you'll get the feel of it. I told the guys at SCC since thier service was so great I would paint it in thier signiture colors. It's definately not perfect but it will be fun to race. Jim

We will check the mail Saturday morning. Photo and time trial models that arrive and then race.

IF models are late...I will run them as they come in. Hope that is ok with you folks.

Nice Jim! I need to pick up a Nova, great looking sportsman body style~

Envious that you'll get to be there in person..
