Racer Porsche 356

This model does nothing for me. Believe me, I love 356's. I am just not interested in a classic, in this case a 356, fitted with a Slot.it pod and 21 K motor that allows it to drive like it's a 956. I'll take the Ninco car with an NC1 any day.

That photo on the Slotcartoday site looks very similar to a 1:43 model by True Scale Miniatures. I wonder if they borrowed a photo from TSM. Probably best to wait and see how the finished product comes out...

Everybody scrutinizing different car models, and brands, this question came to mind, when you go to buy a new slot car, do you go as far to take a ruler with you and a set of converted specs with you? That would be too difficult and near impossible I would think...and a little obsessive in my opinion. If that detail level is important to you, so be it, but how do you scrutinize the scale detail to the tees when buying a car from a shop at home or a reputable one online? To each his own but I feel that the spirit of the thing should be what counts...when racing we like to race the same type and brand here, Racer against Racer, Slot It to Slot it, And so on, if you do that scale shouldn't matter as they are more than likely the same scale....unfortunately we don't have a club or commercial track anywhere around, we make our track rules a little different than others....

Well the 356 is a favorite of mine so I'm looking forward to seeing the actual Racer/Sideways car :)
