Larry Swift has raced with us since 1998, in two different locations. He was a great competitor on the old high banked tri-oval, and continues to be a regular winner and multiple series champion on the new flat track. Larry has also raced the real thing at two different New England speedways. He is the first person to help a competitor fix a problem, and has even done car setup for folks racing against him. He is a true gentleman competitor.

For 2015, Larry has donated a great package of prizes for our racers. Race packages included tools, maintenance products, and more. Thanks to Swift Motorsports for supporting slot car racing.

Today's sponsor recognition goes to Red Devil. This is a long established company which began as Smith & Hemenway Company, Inc. in 1872 in Hill, New Hampshire. I noticed that they manufacture clear silicone, which our racers use on their tires. I approached them about promoting this use of their product and asked for 8 tubes (one for each race winner, one for the Champ). They said they would. A few weeks later, a huge box shows up with 24 tubes of silicone, 24 hats, 3 shirts,a tote bag, and a really nice heavy vinyl banner for the Victory Lane pics. Sponsor spotlight - Krud Kutter is not only a great cleaning product, it is safe to use and "earth friendly". We applaud their efforts to make an effective cleaning product that doesn't hurt the environment. I approached Krud Kutter about providing prizes for our racers and they didn't hesitate, sending us 96 bottles and logo'd gift bags.
