I have spent some time with my Nissan, tuning it up for my wood track. I replaced the rear wheels and tires with the 8mm "air" wheels (I forget the number) with a foam insert, and 1171N22 tires. The wider 1172N22 and 10mm wheels don't fit with the skirts on. I had to turn down the inserts a little to fit the smaller diameter wheel, but it is not something that affects the look at all.
With a slightly loose pod and body, this is now my fastest Slot.it Gp C car, even quicker than the IMSA Porsche that used to hold that honor. I think the slightly narrower tire actually helps on my track by not over-gripping. The Porsche, even with some added tungsten, is always a little "tippy".
Yet another #1 hit from Slot.it in my opinion.
