Carrera Stingray

A while back I converted one of the early Carrera Mustangs to digital and added lights. I was pleased with the conversion and started on the partner Stingray but got side tracked. With Carrera re-releasing the Stingray in digital form I was back on the case and completed it today.
It is one of the original deep red bodies as I was already most of the way there in modifications, sitting on the current release chassis.

Color is TS-19 metallic blue. Front lights are scratch built with 3mm white leds. Rear lights are 2mm red leds.

The rear has been lowered a little - you need to glue in the rear panel if you do that though.

That's a beautiful car! I have been wanting to lower mine a bit too, just have not got around to it yet.

Gorgeous. You really must have mastered the mysterious LEDs. I have got to catch up on those things. Carrera has me buying useless digital stuff I don't want, just to get the car complete with the lights that belong on it. If I can get these LEDs figured out, I'll save a lot, and I can sell all these digital inserts I'll never need. Lots of folks want them, it seems. Then I'll light up cars I always wanted lights on. But I gotta learn this stuff first.
