Finished up the main building and the top tower this morning. Still have to build the roof panels, install them and get window panels and doorways put on. Have a monogram figure in last pic to show size.

That looks great. Are the different colors of the blocks as supplied, or did you paint them?

Thanks, the blocks come in the lighter and darker shades of grey. I'm sure I will be painting it when finished but will have to wait and see how I want to do it.

I got the top tower roof section done and glued this morning. Just needs to be kept square but very simple. The other small section in pic is the start of the lower roof that has a opening for a ladder to go from the bottom tower up to the top tower.

Lee, it looks great. I was looking at the smaller window beside the door, and thinking about your considerable modelling skills. How about a rusty window unit air conditioner hanging out of there, with condensation drip lines running down the wall outside and puddling on the surface below?

Also, the disposable funnel-looking things doctors use to peek into your ears will make great PA loudspeakers up a pole overhead.

Rob, thank you but you give me too much credit. :) Anybody could do what I do, it just takes patience and a little bit of luck. All kidding aside its been awhile since I have done any projects due to personal things going on in my life but I forgot just how satisfying and relaxing it is getting lost in a project. This kit has been fun and its really pretty easy and straightforward.

I like the window unit idea, that would be cool. I will have to look into that. Great idea for the loudspeaker funnels too!

New track control tower

Finished the roof for the lower tower. You can see the opening for the ladder inside up to the top tower. Still have the front steps and the generator shed to do but the main structure is complete now. Now it's all detail work from here adding windows and railings and the doors.
