Mail came today, Christmas from Cloverleaf! That Matra is a smooth one! cant complain about the Alfa either, after all, it's a slot-it!ImageImageImage

I still haven't bought the Matra. It's due to an old bias. I heard how the real ones sounded after about 8 hrs at the Daytona 24hr. ( Like someone had thrown some pebbles down the intake manifold.) And I do realise that has no bearing on how the slot car would run.

They're very fast on the wood routed tracks our club uses here,and so are those chappys by slot it.

My local track just got in the new Matra and I have to say - it looks even better in real life!
(and yes - one followed me home)
Can't wait to start turning some laps with it!
