TGIF - Might be time for progress

Postby HomeRacingWorld » Fri May 15, 2015 8:30 am

Well, what a week huh?

Made a few updates to the site and still need to get a few more completed. Meanwhile my progress on my Modified is slow, but getting there. You know I will have this running good and then mess up the paint :)

Hope all have a great weekend and you get some trigger time in.

Spent yesterday getting our decorative pond cleaned out and up and running; about 3 hours on the big tractor mowing with the Bush Hog. Sore today and have to grocery shop. 1:1 job Sat & Sun.
Hope to work down in the dungeon tonight for awhile; going to repaint my Proslot 360 Ferrari and maybe a Ninco E-Type.

I'm spoiled on that one. I would have to have that arc welding light flickering. Better put that link up again, too, Dave.

Hoping for a little dungeon time, as its the May 24th holiday up here so an extra day off.
But I have to get the camper ready for the season installing a new awning, and another building project for my grandsons.
I have a notion the old BBQ will get a workout too.

Just got back from Amarillo, TX on a business trip. The trip was good, but I love being home.

Have some yard work to keep going on, a review of the new Fly BT44 to send to the Boss, and a FINAL Rocky Mountain Chevelle Club meeting to attend. We shut down in 2010 and are having one last hurrah. Go-karts at the Unser Racing Experience and then some steaks. Hope to have dad come race on Sunday if all goes according to plan.

Still painting, almost finished, then on to the trim replacement. I'm liking this vinyl stuff, works just like wood, easy to saw and you can nail or screw it on. Still selling cars. I have sold quite a few, but still have bunches to go. May is my worst month, house taxes, and license plates added to the mix, what fun.

Should get my Model A's printed out tonight and start cleaning and painting those tomorrow so that I can start assembling on Sunday. Got to get ready for memorial weekend you know. Then I need to squeeze in the usual home chores of mowing the lawn and maybe a little tree trimming.

Just had the little grand kids over tonight and had a nice visit. They wore me out as usual. :)
