Yes, the diagram I showed you is positive polarity.

I forgot about your controller being wired for the stock Carrera base. The controllers I have that we talked about are the correct polarity.

Is thst drivers station a cable tv connection or a wall outlet cover with brass hardware added? Do you have the Lowes part nimber? Always like to save some $$$.

Its a blank outlet cover with nuts and bolts. I just went to menerds to get mine. No idea on part number. Hard wiring the track cost me about $50 bucks. That bought all conectors wire and hardware
