TGIF - Family Fun

Postby HomeRacingWorld » Fri May 29, 2015 8:05 am

Well what a week. Lots of things going on as usual, so look for new articles and such as we get them finished.

My oldest son and his new wife are in town for a visit. They brought along the bulldog "puppy" so this will be a fun time for the next few days :)

New projects always on the bench, but first is finishing my Carrera Cobra for our series.

Hope all of you have a great weekend and you find time to do a little slotting.

No slots for me this weekend. We are headed 200 miles down the coast to Santa Cruz CA in the morning, Our youngest daughter who lives in Chicago, will be in the SF bay area to attend a wedding that day. Her birthday is on Sunday. We will have just enough time to treat her to a birthday brunch before taking her to the airport for her flight home on Sunday afternoon.

Not rostered for work this weekend so wife and I are out for brunch on Saturday morning. She is going to spend a couple of hours at the hairdressers (!) so I'll meet up with friends at the local slotcar shop.
Sunday is forecast for showers and she is off to a school reunion so I'll get the heater going in the garage and work on a couple of slot projects.
Have a good one everybody.
Chris.

Saturday I will be cheering with my 86 yr old father as we watch his team Arsenal taking onthe opposition for the English Football Association (FA) Cup.
Sunday may be grass seeding if its raining , or grass cutting if its not.
Somehow need to make time for some slots on Sunday.
Have a good weekend everyone.

Dog looks like me...

Had 10 tons of rock delivered today for a landscaping project. I quit work at 3:30 and got 4 tons of it down before it started raining. So, I'll finish that up tomorrow, get some work done on a few track items and spend some time with the family. The LT flies in on the 8th and his wedding is the 13th, so we've go lots going on with that!

I was so busy yesterday I didn't get a chance to post. Almost too much going on. Today (Saturday) will be much better, I only have to go to the post office to mail everyone's packages off. The Fiat is no more, just couldn't afford to keep it, so I'm now driving a 2004 Mustang GT. Have a good weekend everybody. :)
