Looks like a great time!

Hard to believe that you can go from box stock to 12-hour race ready in only 4 hours :o .............Great to see that PGT's were he right tire for this enduro; agree, Paul makes great products. How do the PGT's perform (lap times/ease of handling) on your track compared to silicones (Quick Slicks or other)?

I'll get the low down from Bob on Tuesday; including the "sock story"............

This track has (almost) never seen silicone tires. In fact, the guys in Montréal are allergic to silicone, it seems. They don't want this compound anywhere near their tracks. So, we'll never know how Quick Slicks would have done. But there's no doubt in my mind silicone tires on a track like this would be faster than Paul Gage tires.

Great to see that you guys have a good time. Really wish I could have made it this year. I noticed Pascal mentioned that this may be the last 12 Hour race. what is that all about?

The last one on this track. He wants to build another track this summer. We'll certainly be back for the tradition to continue.

Looks like a great time and I like the idea of giving each team a box stock car and only four hours to "tune" - pretty slick!
It looks like the teams did pretty well with keeping them relatively equal as well based on the lap counts! :D

I know I have definitely been impressed with how well the PGT tires hold up! While I have never run an enduro with them - the ones on my VNFR car looked great after 900+ laps on track surfaces that varied from routed wood to plastic sectional!
Definitely a "two thumbs up" product! :D

It was indeed a great time with great people. Our host Pascal not only hosts the rce, but opens his home to us and gives us not only food and wine, but also places to sleep for those of us that travel.

The Scaleauto cars performed well for the most part. A few teams had some trouble getting them properly setup, but once they got them figured out, they ran great. Well, 3 of the 4 cars anyways.
The Paul Gage tires performed very well. Each team was given 3 pairs of tires, 1 pair of XPG's, and 2 pairs of PGT's. I don't think any of us expected 1 pair to last the whole race, but 3 teams did just that, ran the race on 1 pair of PGT's. From start to finish, they provided good grip that never faded. The cars actually got a little bit faster as the race wore on.

No, not yet. That has to wait until the 2016 Michigan 24, and I'm betting will be very hard to earn...

For the Montreal 12hr, this is only the 2nd time I've been on the winning team, so for now, I can only give the peace sign.. :lol:
