............The final race of 2012 was held at Larrys Buzzard Bay Raceway,five drivers pulled into the pits to finish off the first half of the B.A.R.F. season
.............There were only two winners today as Larry won 3 of the 4 mains Street Stock,Modified and Late Model with Carl winning the Sprint car main.

Fubar,

Thanks for the commentary about a very good friend of mine, Ken Brown. I really do miss seeing him at the races. He was one of the truly good guys and it's folks like him that just make this hobby so enjoyable.

He and I were at a race one time when the both of us had cars that were the slowest cars on the track. We were having a contest for D.A.L. in the race. I had come off, and Ken stopped. When the turn marshal put me back on, we continued our race. During the break I asked him what that was all about. He replied, "I didn't want to take advantage of you. We were racing for last place and it was too much fun." You don't get friends like that too many times in life.
