Wow Bob that gives me an idea. I'll have to print out another Econoline and add a swifer style mop to it that I can spray with Endust to clean my track. Especially after getting beat in a race with my grandson this past weekend. I waited to long to clean the track and was having some issues with traction until I stopped the race and cleaned the track.

I've been using this for several years. I saw this Tonka street cleaner at a department store, got this idea and went to work. It drags a Swiffer around and in front is a piece of a sponge paint brush on to which I apply naphtha. The Swiffers are changeable. I used "step down" gears so the truck cannot go too fast. I fashioned a cam from an old crown gear so the motor and horn sound gets activated when in movement. I let it lap the track several times and it gets the job done.

It was a riot to make and lots of fun to watch it work.
