You're right it is slow right now & not just here on many other forum's as well...
Probably since we're coming up to the end of the summer & school starting soon we are all busy with other stuff that we want to take care of before summer is gone...

Things should pickup soon in about a month or so then the forum's will start to be more active , I would think...

Anyhow I wanted to show my new circuit last week but it's taken longer then I tough it would , as I am testing a new idea for borders & wanted to be all finish before I show it but maybe I should show my circuit/layout anyways..?

Hey Old dog, glad to see you up and about again and at the keyboard. Not much on the bench these days other than repair work. :lol: It's race season here now. The gs spends a month with us every summer and the cars get stress tested, especially now that the oval is back up.

Thanks Roland. No, the rims are turned aluminium and very light, not like the white metal rims tht come with some of the kits.

Another good thing about these wheels is that they fit the HO axles.

I have a 63 Falcon and some Ford Anglia/Popular resin bodies that I need to mount on Artin chassis when I get to them!

I intended to build two Funny Cars but then I realized that one has to use Artin stuff. No option for me. I am in for real scratchbuilding and SCALE ( so far as it's possible ).
So the bodies are in the cardboard box again and now I'm converting Chinese clones instead - clothing, poses etc. Although they are more 1/48 than 43rd, this is not bad, giving a visual impression of depth if they are standing a bit further in the middleground or background.
I don't like the uniformity when there are standing dozens of persons in the same boring six or seven different poses and all with the same clothes.
Ah yes, and I'm rebuilding the interior / floor of my hamburger / hot dog van. It had to be moved downward so that I can put in two persons now without banging their heads on the ceiling...

n.b.: If someone needs them - I have three or four ARTIN cars lying aruond here. Would sell them or trade for resin shells.

If you don´t mind them still being unpainted and a bit filler missing here and there I´ll show some photos tonight.
Btw - I am also replacing the Hamburgers and HotDogs that were in the HotDog van. They were way too big, better usable for 32nd scale.
