Im looking for vintage pictures from the 1960s-1970s of nascar pits and in field. Im trying to find ideas fo scenery for my track. Ive tried the google but not much for the infield as for pics. More of the cars racing. Any help would be great!

Look on Amazon for an older copy of The NASCAR Chronicles. It takes you (with lots of great pictures) from the beach to the present day. Get a copy that is several years old to save a bundle. They come out every year, just adding a year at a time.

This gives you barrier ideas as well as pit action.

Mostly you have cars and fans/crews watching from the infield.



Here are some ideas for buildings, etc. Not much has changed really. Add some old campers and figures watching the race, etc.

Thanks harry. I planned on most the stuff to be in the infield. I have my outer wall around the track complete. I just need visuals for the in field. This will help.
