What should my next resin bodyshell be?

Wow, this has been slow! Getting the shape created in 3D took a long time, then getting the surfaces stitched together took a long time, and now I'm about to go on vacation so the car will just sit there not being prepared for molding!

But here's some photos of the master model before it gets prepped for the silicone mold.

Dang it guys I'm 10 years late and a few dollars short.
Every time I get a ideal someone else beats me to it.
Please let me know when this car is on the sale list I will be getting this one from you.

Just started on the prep work, you can see the printer's build lines across the hood showing that this was printed nose up like a rocket. Needs a few more coats of paint, sanding with 600 grit between each one.

This has been a tough one to get moving! The 3D print had no mesh on the radiator grill so I added some as you can see on the photo above. Unfortunately when I cast the silicone some of it seeped behind the mesh which pulled the mesh off the master model and made it impossible to do a repeatable resin cast.

Time to remake the radiator mesh, glue it onto the front end and keep adding thin washes of paint to properly seal it to the car without losing the detail. And repeat...

But we're here at last, I'll get some paint on soon to show up the contours better and I need to tweak the door mirror in the mold so they don't break off as easily (the passenger side one snapped off this one)




I've added body posts for a Pioneer Charger chassis in case racers want to use that.
