Thanks for the great hospitality..........My cars could ALMOST keep up this time.
3rd time's the charm.

As an aside...........I'm traveling 75mph in the left lane of RT44 west of Pacific, Mo. passing slower traffic
when a moronic "pocket rocket" biker roars by my truck on the left shoulder between my truck mirror & the inside
retaining wall where he has maybe 8 ft. clearance while his buddy is passing the rest of traffic on the right hand shoulder.
This is the 2nd time it's happened to me on this same stretch of highway.
I have to ask "razor Jon" if that's a common occurrence since that's his neighborhood??

Saw splitting in CA on the way to Shotguns house - scared the crap out of me! Every bike was doing it at max speed. I almost collected one.

Well I made it home! Did the straight through again, just could not sleep. well worth every mile!
Harry and Cindy, I cant thank you both enough for the effort you put into these get together's.
You are the best hosts ever! Food was awesome, fun was above and beyond, and the company was just fantastic.
Great to put faces with names. Meeting the folks this time was great.
Thank you for the invite once again, I hope my behavior warrants another trip back!

Oh, a special thanks to that adorable cheater, he made us all laugh so hard, I think we all tinkled.

I must be getting too old for the interstate highway system.............. :pray:

No, the interstate highway system is in desperate need of repair and renewal. I'm lucky here because the Dept. of Defense needs the Atlantic seaboard interstates to be smooth and well-maintained, but in other parts of the country I have seen since 2004 or so, its downright scary to go over about 60mph, especially if there is traffic.

I-40 just east of Memphis, and again just east of Jackson, are menacingly ill-kept.

A big thanks to Cindy and Harry for another great fun run! As BTaylor said, they are incredible hosts and the ribs were as good as Harry promised!
It was so cool to see btaylor, Strangebrew and Mark's cars in person, plus throw in Mr. Wizard's little dual motor drag car, what a hoot.
Thanks to Razor Jon for the sanding blocks for my Area 3, can't wait to try them out (the Area 3 was purchased pre-Razor )
ShotGun, your VW Beetle is a runner, it was keeping up with the Gp5 Sideways cars on MidMO.


Bob, you are an animal to drive home in a single day, and you are adorable in your own special way.

Well...it's us that thank all of you. It's never been about the cars. Always about the great friends we have.

:mrgreen: Here is a few more shots of the sights and sounds.



The General started the day with homemade biscuits and gravy. I guess Bob was hungry...Mokid seemed happy, he had Hell on Wheels.



Just a slight peek at some car highlights. I missed some of course :) We had a BALL with the Shotgun inspired Highboys.





Mark T taking his Hardees hotrod on a maiden test run.



It hauled.



Mark T converted this George Turner casting into a cool roundy-rounder.



The Sportsman cars had a workout. We raced a lot more than these...I think I was cooking and missed it. :)



The General inspects the conduct on track after Cheater's seminar on racing etiquette. Bob is working hard to pass, while Junior is lapping the field as usual.



Yes, a pretty good turnout. Always fun to see the action.



All I asked was if they thought I was a good cook....geez. :) But I think this photo sums it ALL up :clap:
