If I am looking at it right the top left is a first gen Nova that would be a cool piece. Terry

My vote would have to be either the Maverick in the back row - or the Road Runner / Satellite(?) in the front row! :D

And the readers want - Fire Bird wins. I polled Hobby Talk, Slot Car Illustrated here and HO Scale Dirt Track Racing (FB)

Falcon -4
Nova - 7
Fire Bird - 12

Working on the inside mold of the Firebird, found the 54 Ford and poured the Nova. Thats good news, the bad is I'm coming down with my first cold of the year so I'm just kicking back. The Nova is going to be made into a short track car, however I will do a limited run of the street car version. Here is the start of the street car version.

Roger, I can't tell from your Pix, but is your Nova a '62-'64 body, or a '65 ? Also, is your body tiny like the MEV Nova, or larger like a T-Jet size ?

Telling what year Nova it is...

FYI- the '65 Nova had the front turn signals in the bumper, the '62-'64 had them in the Grill right under the headlights. The '65 Nova had large Back-Up lights on the Trunk lid panel right next to the Tail lights on the back of the quarter panels, while '62-'64 Nova's had a clean trunk lid panel in back, ie- No back up lights on lid, just a tiny white spot on the tail lights- which was an option if lighted or not..

Its a 65 the parking lights are in the bumper and the backup lights are on the trunk. Its LWB but it is narrow. My main objective is a short track car with a small spoiler and maybe a breather on the hood. Haven't decided on what type of bumper to have yet.

71 TJET Firebird update Finished the inside mold and made a couple test casts. I am currently working a couple thin spots I'm not happy with, hope to be finished this week end :)
