Sure it's wide enough. We have had years of fun on our 5 x 16. Forget the banks and just tilt each end up a little.



I used simple 2x4's to support each table end. Works fine.

I just got mine running. It's 4X12. Ran for a while last night. Lots of fun with it.

You can use #3 and #2 with borders,you would need about 7.5 feet for #4 and #3 with borders. Will be fun

I imagine a big bank on one end and flat on the other would be a driving challenge.

The 18x6 size would be awesome. I just got my 12x5 up, and that is a blast.

I also think you have the right idea to just slightly bank the ends as Harry suggests. Too much banking takes some of the skill of driving away.
