SCX NASCAR front end

Postby slothead » Sun Nov 01, 2015 8:52 pm

I bought a used SCX NASCAR recently to try the chassis under a Pioneer Mustang body for a street stock. But a problem I've run into before stopped the build - the copper tabs that connect to the guide for power to the motor exert so much force the front wheels are off the track.

The axles are now on a SCX Pro chassis, but if anyone has a a fix for the SCX guide problem I'll find a use for that chassis too.

You can pry them up gently.

Make them flush and that gets the front wheels to sit freely.

Hope it helps.
