Nice Dave! As much as I like a good highboy, That thing sure has mean dirt roadster look with the chassis flipped.
Just my 2 cents, but it looks great either way.

I have a 40 Ford convertible on the shelf for a hot rod build

You just HAD to flip that chassis didn't you? :) I really like that rake on it like that.

Shows how cool your chassis design is, being able to make that choice.

With respect to Stinky Harry, oops, I mean Harry's Stinker, I think hot rod style has its place, but that finish belongs on a jalopy to me. Hot rods should have show off paint jobs, serious artwork. And yes, I hate that people call oxidized ruined paint a "patina". Looks lazy to me. But a jalopy is supposed to look like that. On the other hand, remember that gorgeous blue and white job you did? That thing is Harry's pride and joy as much as my red/black '40 Ford that you did. But I still hate for a hot rod to be rusty and worn.

I like the lower body,the other way looks like the CG is too high.
