TGIF! Playtime

What a crazy work week. Still have a few hours left before the weekend, but already looking forward to some playtime :)

Plenty of projects on the bench: 57 Black Widow Sportsman coming along, as usual my paint work is horrible and holding me up. RMS Corvair ready for testing as well.

Track planning for the Carrera track extension. Very simple, but look forward in having the grand kids over to help build it.

Going to pick an old car from The Abyss and give it a tune. Maybe get a few of you to join in with me. Time to dust off an old warrior and give it some track time.

Road trip to Dayton and Columbus today (more "lightening ship") and have to work this weekend (just 2 or 3 more and I'm "fully retired).

Besides the Cortina I'm selling for Moose, I picked up an SCX SEAT 850. Just got the little bugger cause it's cute (and Italian...sort of). It needed sticky tires on the rear and a set of Shotgun's 1/43 Artin grooved slicks stretched to fit rather nicely! I removed the mag and added about 14 grams. It is fun! May have to get another, will post pics later.

Tomorrow morning it's off to see Bob. Gonna get some racing in and get more parts from SCC... (like I need more :? )

Did get a couple of new banners. Got to find a place for them... :o

We're doing some D124 racing at the Uberring here in Cincy. Getting ready for the Turkey Day Race. We're hoping to broadcast some of it on UStream live or Meerkat. Enjoy the weekend!

Harry, I'm up to the old warrior challenge. I'm thinking a ProSlot Porsche with the naked lady on the car. Also, drawdown dinner tomorrow nite. If I win, a nice contribution to HRW.

Thankfully, I am DONE working this week. I get a full day in the basement tomorrow and a friend's birthday party tomorrow night. Hope to do lots of catching up.
