LIL' 57

Getting cold, so it's time to start working on cars .
I like Tyco 57 Chevys, but they sit like a 4x4. I lowered the purple one last year, so it was time to lower the flamed one. Still have a little work to do on the front wheel wells. I have some Good/Year tires coming, this one will get painted and numbered.

I had a lot of trouble with the paint, had to strip it three times. Not as clean as I wanted, but I'm sure it will get beat up on the track. I kept the windows in, HO cars with no windshields tend to break the pillars within two minutes of use....It doesn't look to bad in real life, it's only 2.5" long. :lol:

you did really nice work on those, have you ever tried using an HP7 chassis?
here what i do, i take an HP7 chassis remove the motor and put a Tomy 6 ohm, all you have to do is put the metal tab to the good side and works... i used 440X 2 rear and front axle and you body is already lower about 4 mm in that way, without cutting anything... i did not find yet anything to replace the magnet so far but with two 57 Bel Air mounted the same way why change the magnet!!! thwey are both equal speed, etc...and run really nice.
