Oval Track Racing "sprint cars"...

John Dixon....I talked to Terry at the Raytown track about putting my little Bull ring in the store till the big oval is running.......He sayed after the big drag race event at the end of the month, maybe I can I know it is awesome with these 1/32 scale cars, and sitting at eye level with the track these sprint cars really take on a hole new feel.....

Steve, I think your just gonna have to talk him into the braid you have and volunteer the time to get Terry's oval up and running. I don't see it getting done any other way. I'll be that way in a couple of weeks.

Yea...I came up with $75..for the frame and body mounted only...

I posted a folder of 30 body templates I found on the net.....

Sprint Car exiting turn in Slow Motion.......I found diving into a turn hard hiting the brakes, then giving it a boost of acceleration at the top of the turn would kick out the rear setting it up to go straight before exiting the turn.....This can only be appreciated on a home track, where everything is slowed down alowing a more realistic experience .......It also helps to sit at eye level with the cars to get the full effect. ....

Well after a year....the 6 lane oval in Raytown-International-Raceway is up and running,,,,,After a big summer of camping,kayak, fishing...it is feeling good to get back at it.....Heck I hadent been to the track in a lot of month's, last Sunday they had there monthly (thats once a month) road corse race,I placed second in the gtp cars.....
Any way recruted 4 of these guys,so far, to get started creating a sprint car class.....Hopefully a hardbody sportsman class will develop......
As I have showen before Drag racing keeps the doors open on this facility,,,And those guys are intricate modelers, be nice to recruite some straight line racers onto the oval. ....

Building these chassis for the material cost, just letting people donate to the track for my labor.....You gota love scale auto racing ..awesome....

Raytown international raceway, oval track is about to get a trackmate system....A few weeks back we cut out the inside wall and instaled an infield, works great for alowingdesloted cars to clear the inside lanes....it is coming along.....

These cars are a hand full with the hawlk 7....It takes playing with gear ratios,adding weight,taking wedge out of the wing.......The guys who are used to running fast wing cars on the big 155 foot glued up track will finaly have to learn to drive, faster is not always better.....The foot print of this track is 10x26,and the banks verry at each end.....
