Bass pro set just arrived can't wait for Christmas morning don't know who will be more excited me or my 8 year old son. We are new to this hobbie. We started with scalelectric set slowly moving our way to a wooden oval.

Keeping them that way is better IMHO. It's much more interesting as you cannot get them that way.

Yes you could swap the windows but I can promise you that NOW the error cars are FAR less common then they were. There is a large pile of boxes in the warehouse of the returned cars. So any error cars that are still in circulation are MUCH more rare than not.

Also I want to take the time to thank everyone that bought a Carrera set this year. We have been fortunate to have a good year so far in sales even so we take NO part of the business for granted. Thanks guys a LOT for buying one of these (or any) Carrera sets this year. We really do appreciate it.

Stopped in to Toledo, OH Bass Pro yesterday on the way down to PRI in Indy

They had 5 sets in boxes out in Santa's Toyland, 1 of them had both names swapped, 1 had Harvick on both cars, other 3 were ok.

Was in Auburn Hill, MI store a couple weeks ago and everything there looks like it had been fixed.

So all of the stores haven't necessarily gone through all of their stock and done the exchange.

The set from Toledo with both swapped found its way back home with me...
