You'll have to forgive me fellas, I'm an old (in both senses of the word) "car guy." Having seen several of these 1936 Ford "three window" coupes, and dozens of the more common "five window" coupes, the Dash/Atlas body is not a particularly accurate model of the real thing. While the trunk area WAS longer on the shorter roofed three window body (side and rear windows were counted for this distinction, not the windshield) the hood was longer and rear was not even close to as long as it is on the Dash/Atlas body.
While most slot car racers wouldn't know this or care, and it IS a pretty neat body, it just doesn't look right to me. Could there be some reason the body was made this way? Clearance problems with the chassis perhaps?
