All ok here thanks. The old Skunkworks did get a little moist, but that always happens with the heavy rains. The french drain on the edges keeps it from doing any harm.

Lot of people have it worse. This has been the most devastating flood since I have been here.

We was an Island for about 32 hours, I am way up on a hill and safe from flood waters

We lost 2 gas stations,a super 8, McDonald's, Jack in the box, Jimmy Johns, A dollar General, and my favorite place to shop Dickey Bub farm and home

They say if this was snow we would have gotten 80-100 inches :bow-blue:

Back in the 1980s, Hardy Arkansas became an island for several days from flooding on two sides where the river forks around the city. I used to canoe down that river from Mammoth Spring in Missouri down to Hardy, and where we landed at Hardy is probably 30 feet below the bluff that Hardy sits on. That must have been some flood. I wonder if this huge amount of water will get into the Mississippi watershed before it gets to Arkansas.

Helena and Lake Village Arkansas and Greenville Mississippi sometimes get into trouble when there's a big shed like this in Missouri, Illinois and Iowa. The Mississippi Waterway Channel gets torn up and dangerous, too. By now, its one big channel delay all the way to Louisiana. Channel markers (huge steel buoys), can be torn loose and wind up in farmer's fields- its a mess and a scary time to be working on the river.
