The Car is a 1/43 scale casting I did. It sits on a scratch built chassis I make out of old credit cards.
Wheels are available online through an Italian supplier that caters to 1/43 scale builders. They are machined aluminum with eteched inserts for less then $15 including a good quality rubber tyre.
I would like people to consider 1/43 a modelers scale and help get it moved past the Kids GO stigma it has.
Detailed nice looking cars that perform well can be built and they would look great on 1/32 scale set ups.

Here is the credit card chassis I built using lego as an axle housing. It has 2mm flanged bearings and is low to the ground. All the parts I scavenged of off ebay, and I bet I got enough parts to build 30 cars for less then $100.( not including the wheels)

As this car is running on rubber tires I added a magnet midship. The magnet force is marginal and the car still kicks its tail out and will deslot if you drive it too fast. I used to race old Cox 1/24 scale cars and the driving style is similar to those. With urethane tires you could go no mag with this chassis.
