Updates from Johnny 5 Speed Shop. The challenger got some track time finally, but then back to the shop. We added a rear spoiler, a panel in front to mount the radiator to and a exhaust to the passenger side. Still have more to do but I like the way it is looking. Going to start on the interior detail and mounting a brass front number.

Well I was running some laps with my challenger and it left the track and hit the floor. Didn't think much of it untill I picked up part of the car, It broke in two. Man I was bummed.So I went to work, epoxyed it together and started sanding the repair. Then things got out of hand :lol: . Out came the files and emory boards. I smoothed all edges and did a lot of work around the Windows. Removed the molded hood pins as I want to add four on the hood. Went to primer last night again.

Then went to work on interior tray. I wanted the interior to sit power. Sanded the tray thinner, Then shaped it to size. Cut it up to start making it sit lower.

My plan was to just toss these together and paint em. Should have known better..

Shotgun, I may mount the challenger on a brass chassis for the showdown.

Thought I should post a update. Got some red paint sprayed on the challenger. The first try didn't come out to well, so I sanded it down and did a respray.

Still have to flat black the hood and gloss black the brass.

A lot going on in life, but able to get back to slots. Malibu made it to the wet sand stage. Going to do some filing and detail sanding tonite. She is going to be blue. It has the same door bars as the challenger. May get to primer tonite.

I got the spot putty today, as you can tell I need to get the hang of laying smooth. Also the mixing ratio so I can have a little more time to work with it.
Once I get the putty sanded and smoothed out, I will add the exhaust pipe exit like on the challenger. I also will add a rear spoiler on the back.

The challenger needed the body repaired, and since I was going to reinforce the wheelwells I figured I would probably repaint it again. So I got down to sanding it again, I also needed to fill the door lines more as they are supposed to look sealed. Should have looked it over a little better before painting it.. :angry-tappingfoot: It's a learning curve :lol:

I was thinking of changing the challenger to purple, it is a MOPAR after all, the chevelle will stay blue.
