I got a 3D file and started work, chopping the useless bits out and adapting it to fit my chassis.

I also put in body posts so you can fit a chassis from the Pioneer Dodge Charger, just in case you want to race it.
I got a 3D printed master made, although when the file was created it messed up the radiator grill

So I had to remake that part. The trouble came when I made the silicone mold and some of the rubber got behind the mesh, pulling it off the car and destroying the mold. I had to remake the mesh and use enough paint to seal it to the car but not so much that it lost the detail.

Then I got the windows vacformed and made up some resin wheel inserts from one of the race car pictures above. The vacform interior tray from one of my existing cars fits which is useful. At last, here's how it looks.

Here you can see the body posts in the corners for the Pioneer chassis, and the central ones for the chase-cars chassis


The race car graphics look quite complex so as they're already available I haven't designed them, it would take me even longer!
