Racing fun at Jim Buffington's Center Super Speedway!!!

These cars were definitely the "hot rods" of the evening! None more so than Jim Buffington's orange and black Corvette! To say that it was the class of the field would be an understatement as it was hooked up and flat out hauling!
With the rock solid performance in all four lanes - Jim's Corvette sailed to the head of the field and grabbed the gold and proudly held it high! Second through fourth was more of a dog fight though! Jeff Albitz's Veyron managed to keep one step ahead of the competition to finish with a half lap cushion for the silver. John Egan and I fought it out for the bronze, trading places throughout the run, with it ultimately coming down to a squeaker at the drop of the flag! My yellow Toyota JGTC was just three short segments in front of John's yellow Corvette!




Following our podium finishers:
John Egan's yellow Corvette, within coasting distance of the next position, in fourth
Aronn Palmer's blue Lotus Exige charging hard in the second half locked up fifth
Tom DeLauder's gold GT-40 kept the tail lights of the Lotus in site, ultimately coming in sixth
Chris Ford's platinum Celica ran extremely consistent through all of the lanes to finish with a solid seventh
Bob Young's blue Gran Sport gave Chris's Celica some breathing room, when it struggled a bit with the yellow lane to finish in eighth.


It was a great class to finish off the racing for the evening!

Awesome time . I have only been in the sport for less then 6 months . Everyone I have met has been great and very helpful . Always have a good time at the races theses guys put on !!!

I hated to miss this, but I'm tied up on the second Saturday of the month through April. I can just imagine how a few of the nasty curves created truck mayhem!
