I would race it, as I don't believe in shelf queens. I have a Flyslot John Player Special Lotus that I race every time we do open wheel class. It now has fixed front steering and several spots of glue here and there, but it is super fast and cool looking to boot.

Now as to whether I would buy one of those, well maybe not. Personally I never cared for that front end design even on the 1:1 car.

I might get the car just because of who drove it. Huge Villeneuve fan. The seventies provided some of the best racing that I have watched, although not live. I was too young.
If I get it I will probably get two. One to keep as a static model and the other to race.

I remember watching another legend Aryton Senna in the early morning hour during summer holidays on my little black and white tv in my bedroom. Another legend that was taken away from us too early.

I have one, its a shelf queen. Every now and then I buy a car to display.

These SRC cars run so bad that you probably never go fast enough to knock them off.
